Dr. Shu-Kun Lin paid a courtesy visit to the French delegation to thank the French ambassador for his intervention to obtain a visa to attend the Summit. Incredibly enough, the first visa request by Dr. Lin (Chinese citizen) was denied, even though Dr. Lin is a Swiss permanent resident !.
