Here is one last favour which is very very important for me / us :

As I mentioned before we are planning to do a press release now announcing the award and we will mention that the award is given for in the cateogory art.

We want to write that the Award is given to me because of the analysis of the potential of the internet in the text on the goethe website and for our activities such as the Werkleitz Biennale www.werkleitz.de/common_property or www.werkleitz.de/happy_believers and the European Media Artists in Residence Exchange (EMARE) www.werkleitz.de/emare

And that I will take the price for the collective efforts of media artists.

I hope this is ok to you, because this will help us to continue EMARE and als the Werkleitz Biennale as the future of this activities is unsure in the moment, due to restricted funding resources and a problem of our federal government to understand Media Art as Artform itself, especially if it is concerned with political statements about free access of informaton.

It also would make me feel much better, as I see most of our work as collective work and it just happened accidently that I wrote the article by my own.

I hope you can understand this attitude and also that this gorgeous news is a kind of safety-belt which we (Werkleitz Association) grasp to be able to continue our work.

The most recent EMARE work which we supported by the way is www.zone-interdite.net a world mapping of military restricted zones and the act of making this information public through the means of collecting information on the internet. Have a look at it, I can highly recommend it :-)
