We are calling entities that are working with ENSTA/KNIS : PC4D collaborators or associated partners. Collaborators may work with several partners. Another name under consideration is "DWF associate".
It is has been assessed ( Joint Facilitation Meeting on WSIS Action Lines C2, C4, and C6 19-21 May 2008 The Digital World Forum as a Necessary Mechanism for Successful Implementation PDF file ITU ) that there a Forum should exist to fill the need of a meeting place where companies developing UMPC technology, could interface with governments ( particularly from developing countries ) and civil society; in order to really study requirements to bridge the digital divide and to transform technological success into a social & educational success within the information society ?
Under this vision being explored of a Forum as a place of exchange between stakeholders. Forum associates would be able to contact other associates members of the Forum.
